NEW May 2008 Ireland's Food & Wine features writer Haydn Shaughnessy has written a good synopsis of real life here... One of his closing remarks is 'my admiration for the vineyard owner is boundless having been in charge of my own spade for 18 months'. Wine editor Raymond Blake rounded off the story with good reviews of our two white wines delivered to him early 2007. Of our Sauvignon Blanc 2006 (sold out eight months before this comment was penned) he says 'This is sauvignon blanc like you have never tasted. There is a wild, earthy streak on the nose with a slight vegetal hint. The palate is sharp and edgy with the crispness of grapefruit and a very individual mineral backbone.'
